Mini-Metapuzzle
I wrote a quartet of puzzles which appeared as part of the AVClub Crosswords in the PuzzleSocial app on Facebook. They can be combined somehow to give a 17-letter phrase, which can be emailed to me at patrick@patrickblindauer.com for confirmation, if you like. Good luck! (The answer will be posted at the start of 2013.)
"Summit Meeting" PDF and puz (solution)
"Seasons Greetings" PDF and puz (solution)
"Great Service" PDF and puz (solution)
"Boys Will Be Boys" PDF and puz (solution)
Meta-solution (select text to view): Each puzzle's theme refers to a musical group with Four in its name: the Four Tops, the Four Seasons, the Four Aces, and the Four Lads. Taking the answer to 4-Across from all 4 puzzles gives THUMB, ORE, THUMB, AIRIER or "The more the merrier."
Holiday Puzzlefest Teaser
I wrote an interconnected suite of puzzles for a contest during the holiday season last year, and this is the puzzle I used as a promo for it. It's called "Project Planning" (solution).
If you want to try the Puzzlefest itself, head on over to the Shop page. The contest may be over, but the puzzles live on.
